Remembering .......

We have set aside this very special day,
to remember those who have gone away.
The fighters of World War I and II,
Korea and Viet Nam just to name a few.

Desert Storm and Afghanistan,
we shouldn't forget a single man.
That goes for our female military too,
we're so grateful to all of you.

We also remember those in Iraq,
that won't be able to come back.
Flowers and flags placed upon the grave,
for those whom - the ultimate gave.

They sacrificed their lives to keep us free,
although some might want to disagree.
In this country, they have that right,
because of those who went to fight.
