A Chickadee giving me "the look"

and "working" his seed

ShutterFreak Photo

A rather "stormy" day around these parts. They roll "in" and they roll "out". More to come later tonight!

This little house finch sat and posed for me. I think he knew he was being "shot"

And then the Mrs. came along and he turned his back on me... haha

Baltimore Oriole

This little juvie decided he would hang around yesterday and today and try out all three hummingbird feeders. I know they like sweet stuff but I didn't have any oranges to put out for him so I put out a saucer of grape jelly. He loved it! But, he still continues to drink from the hummer feeders. He sure is a cutie!

He is checking out the tree and the other birds

Oh, I think I see a feeder down there

I think I'll go for it

Wonder if she can see me on this hummingbird feeder?

They are getting BIG

They are trying out their wings

They are ready to leave the nest. Poor old Mom had to sit on them most of the day to keep them from falling out

Now that's a Burger!!!

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (AP) May 2, 2005 — The burger war is growing. Literally.

Denny's Beer Barrel Pub, which lost its crown as the home of the world's biggest burger earlier this year, is now offering a new burger that weighs a whopping 15 pounds.

Dubbed the Beer Barrel Belly Buster, the burger comes with 10.5 pounds of ground beef, 25 slices of cheese, a head of lettuce, three tomatoes, two onions, a cup-and-a-half each of mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, mustard and banana peppers - and a bun.

It costs $30. BURGER WAR

It was 75 here yesterday and big storms rolled thru. Today it is 43 and the windchill is 34. What a big change!

They're BACK!

I was sitting out in the front yard with Albie and what did I see? A little male ruby-throated hummer! YEAH!!! He flew right in my face as if to say "I'm back so where is my food"? haha I am a happy camper now. I rushed right in and got the feeder all ready for him. Hopefully he will be back tomorrow. I just love the hummers ...

Squeaky Red has returned!

She was posing for me today

ShutterFreak Photo

Went for a drive thru the country on Friday and these are a few of my favorites. The first one is where my aunt Allie used to live many years ago and we visited her often when I was a small child. I drive by this old place every spring and fall to take photos.

I love this photo. This is where my Mothers uncle Rassie used to live (now that is a strange name for a person)

Just beautiful. Taken by the lake in NC.

Albie was enjoying the sun and the fresh mowed lawn.
